SERVICES

The methods we use is culturally neutral. We strive to better clients’ position by communicating directly the real issue in plain English.

Company Verification

“How to verify a Chinese company’s legitimacy?”
“Is this Chinese company we do business really exist?”

We help verify companies that registered in mainland China. Our China Company Verification Report is based on information we obtain from the following channels:

  • Online National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System;
  • Administrative published date & information that made available to the public;
  • Judicial records that accessible to licensed Chinese lawyers; and
  • Recognized private-run company credit information platforms.

Dispute Resolution

Our firm has a dispute resolution team composed of experienced attorneys as well as senior consultants who worked for administrative bureaus, the Procuratorate and People’s Court.

Our attorneys have cost-efficiently represented both Chinese and English-speaking clients in arbitration, litigation and other dispute resolution engagements in China.

Some clients ask our attorneys to battle through all stages of trial and appeals. Other clients chose litigation or arbitration with an eye towards a speedy and favourable settlement. At every turn, we keep our clients’ objectives at the forefront of our agenda.

Intellectual Property Protection

Registration — We help clients with registering trademarks, patents and copyrights in China, at the protection of international level.

Transfer — We help with commercial transfers of intellectual properties and advise on relevant matters.

Litigation (administrative & civil) — It costs a lot to sue. Within the China jurisdiction, Intellectual property litigation is probably the only area where the losing party has to pay the winning party’s lawyers. We offer flexible fee structure to help you cost-effectively protect your trademarks, patents and other intellectual property rights.

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)

While setting up a foreign-invested business (e.g., WFOE, Joint Venture) in China is getting easier than it used to be, operating it is still not as simple or efficient in most other jurisdictions, and our Attorneys know the system well and how to work it.

Our attorneys work closely with international business owners and their in-house lawyers and management team to provide responsive and cost-effective outside legal assistance. We take pleasure in sharing our experiences with ambitious foreign investors who seek valuable business opportunities and legal consultancy in Mainland China

Mergers & Acquisitions

Our lawyers are adept at thinking outside the box, mixing our special understanding of what really matter in a complicated foreign-related M&A transaction. At the same time, we understand that foreign law firms, especially law firms from Europe and USA, still lead the way in laying the groundwork for new forms of M&A, and we welcome opportunities to collaborate with our foreign peers.

As China shifts from a “world factory” to a consumer-oriented economy center, we use our local expertise to help clients shift their focus to China, create and execute a practical strategy for reaching their long-term business goals in the entire China market.

Employment & Labor

We advise on the employment of foreign and Chinese individuals by WFOEs, Joint Ventures, Representative Offices, and Chinese domestic companies.

We draft and revise employment contract and employment handbook, and assist with employment-related dispute settlement – mostly via labor arbitration.

Our services for employers include, but not limited to:

  • Providing information on labor contract laws and regulations;
  • Negotiating with employees and settle employment disputes;
  • Applying working visa for foreign employees and management.

While we assist in law compliance for business entities, we also argue in the best interest of employees in labor arbitration committee and/or People’s court. In doing so, we are able to advise on better employment relationship for both our employer and employee clients.

Real Estate & Construction

Real estate and construction law in China is a series of complicated rules and policies. Our attorneys have engaged in factory land purchasing negotiations with local governments on behalf of joint ventures. Our local expertise help secure the best deals by managing healthy and open communications with the clients’ Chinese counterparts and local authorities.

Debt Collection

We assist clients in collecting debt in China by:

  • Issuing Dunning Letters that endorsed by licensed lawyers;
  • Making collection calls; and
  • Filing a) a quick-ruled arbitration upon pre-existing agreement; or b) a civil litigation with local People’s Court of jurisdiction

We also assist clients in collecting debt outside of China by collaborating with international firms.
